2017         Winner & Award recipient of Through the eyes of the Artist By MTA-

Poster Design Titled “Celebrate El Pueblo de Los Angeles.”

2012         California Community Foundation Fellowship for Visual Artists

2011         Debora was honored by the Belle Foundation for Cultural Development,

Grantee, San Jose, Calif.

2007         Edward James Olmos awarded a scholarship and featured Debora in a 2007

documentary called Voces de Cambio

1994         First place award -33rd District Art Competition with a pencil drawing titled

What now?  Went to Washington DC to meet Lucille Roybal Allard, congresswoman for the 33rd District in Los Angeles.

The work was displayed at the US Capitol for a year.
